RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

Damages and/or defects

Every product shipped from us undergoes strict quality checks. Inspite of that we request you to inspect your order on receiving and contact us immediately if the item is defective and/or damaged, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please contact us within 48 hours of the delivery of the product any request made after this time frame will not be entertained.

Wrong product delivery

In an unlikely scenario if you have received wrong product i.e., product that you did not order, please contact us immediately up receiving the product. We will explore the option that yo would like to take and process returns/refunds on case bases.

The item you would like to return/exchange must be in the same condition that you have received it. Unworn or unused with tags intact in its original packing.

Exceptions/ non-returnable items

Custom product items (such as saree fall and Pico) cannot be exchange or returned. Please get in touch if you have and concern and question about specific items.

Costumers are requested to verify and review orders including color, size, quantities, etc. of the products before placing order. We do not accept returns items on sale, gifts card or discounted items.

Processing return

Given the nature of the product, to return/exchange, please share your order number, date of order, images of the wrongly delivered or defective product at info@houseofkatha.com

If your return request is approved, we will perform re fulfillment of your order with the same or similar product after review of the wrong/damage delivery within the specific time frame. We offer return pickup and reverse shipment functionally which is subjected to various conditions.

In certain circumstances, you would have to ship the product back to us at our warehouse address. Please ship all your returns to:

Shipping products back to us is your responsibility and we won’t be able to help you if we do not receive the returned products. Upon through inspection, a new item or refund will be initiated. Goods that are found to be used and/or not in appropriate condition would be sent back to the costumer.

Refunds

Processing on refund is purely based on the case we are dealing with. We will notify once we have received your returns and let you know if refund has approved or not. If refund has approved you will automatically be refunded on your original payment method or a credit note would be issued that can be redeemed whenever you shop with us. Shipping or COD charges are not refundable at any circumstances.

Please remember that it might take some time for your bank to process and post the refund.

For the orders that have been processed by cash on delivery payment method, we would require your bank account details to transfer the amount back to you.

Color and item description disclaimer

All the photos in this website are clicked in the outdoor environment or studio light, please expect subtle difference between actual product and website image produced under certain camera settings and digital screen rendition. The rest assure you will get the same product as shown in the website.

The details mentioned in the product specification e.g., color, handwork, size etc., are only approximate values.

A costumer must place an order keeping in mind that these minor variations may exist color as seen on a digital screen and actual color of the product.

We wish that every costumer who orders on katha is aware of this genuine problem.

Hand crafted, hand painted, hand printed, hand died, hand embroidered, hand loom and hand weaved products will always have minor differences when compared to that of machine made. Each piece is unique. They will have slight variations. The raw finish is what makes them valuable and beautiful.
